Executive Assistant to the Founder
Casual role | Approx 10 hours per week | Illawarra / Hybrid

A little about our vision
Soleil Creative Solutions was founded by Jaye Murray with the belief that creativity and communication have the power to shape culture.
At its core, Soleil is about helping people bring ideas to life. Through thoughtful branding, digital strategy and storytelling, the studio works with businesses and creators to build meaningful connections with their audiences.
But our vision goes beyond simply helping brands grow.
We believe that marketing, when used thoughtfully, can be a powerful force for good. The stories that are amplified, the businesses that succeed and the ideas that reach people all have an impact on the world around us. We want to use creativity and marketing to support projects, people and businesses that are contributing something positive.
That means supporting creatives, championing originality and being mindful of the wider impact of the work we put into the world. It also means encouraging more thoughtful approaches to business, sustainability and community.
Soleil sits within The Vault Creative Network, a broader creative ecosystem dedicated to celebrating human creativity in all its forms. Through projects like Brief Me Baby, The Vault aims to support and connect creatives while building a community centred around creativity, culture and collaboration.
We are still in the early stages of building this vision, which means the people who join us now have the opportunity to play a real role in shaping what it becomes.
The Opportunity
Soleil is entering a new stage of growth, and we are looking for an Executive Assistant to the Founder to help support the development of the studio and the broader vision behind it.
This role is not a traditional assistant position. It sits at the intersection of operations, marketing and creative coordination, working closely with the founder to help move ideas forward and keep the studio running smoothly.
Because Soleil is part of The Vault Creative Network, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute not only to the growth of a creative studio but also to the early stages of building a broader creative ecosystem.
The right person will gain exposure to many aspects of building a business, from marketing and client work to creative community projects and long-term strategy.
About the Role
This position involves working closely with the founder to support the day-to-day operations and growth of Soleil.
You will assist with a range of responsibilities that help keep the studio organised while also contributing to marketing and growth initiatives.
The role will evolve alongside the business and offers the opportunity to learn how a creative studio grows from the inside.
Initially the position will be casual at approximately 10 hours per week, with the potential for increased hours as the studio continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
• Assisting with lead generation and outreach to potential clients
• Supporting the management and growth of Soleil’s social media presence
• Assisting with client onboarding and project coordination
• Scheduling and organising marketing and content initiatives
• Supporting communication with subcontractors and creative collaborators
• Researching potential partnerships and opportunities
• Assisting with general studio organisation and administrative support
• Contributing ideas for growth, marketing and creative initiatives
The responsibilities of the role will evolve as the studio continues to grow.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is curious, proactive and excited by the idea of helping build something from the ground up.
You might be someone who:
• Has an interest in marketing, media, design or creative industries
• Is organised, reliable and self-motivated
• Communicates clearly and confidently
• Is comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks
• Has a good understanding of social media and digital culture
• Enjoys learning new things and solving problems
• Values creativity, thoughtful work and positive impact
This role may suit someone early in their career or studying marketing, communications, media or a creative field who is looking to gain real experience within a growing creative studio.
Attitude, initiative and curiosity matter just as much as experience.
Growth Opportunities
This role offers the opportunity to grow alongside the business.
As Soleil expands, there will be opportunities to shape the role based on your interests and strengths. The right person may take on increased responsibility across areas such as marketing, business development or creative project coordination.
Because Soleil sits within The Vault Creative Network, there may also be opportunities to contribute to broader creative initiatives as the ecosystem continues to develop.
Location & Flexibility
This is a hybrid role based in the Illawarra region.
Some in-person collaboration will be required, but much of the work can be completed remotely.
Working hours are flexible as long as responsibilities are fulfilled.
