Junior Social Media Assisstant
Casual role | 5-10 hours per week (strong opportunity to expand) | Illawarra / Hybrid

A little about our vision
Soleil Creative Solutions was founded by Jaye Murray with the belief that creativity and communication have the power to shape culture.
At its core, Soleil is about helping people bring ideas to life. Through thoughtful branding, digital strategy and storytelling, the studio works with businesses and creators to build meaningful connections with their audiences.
But our vision goes beyond simply helping brands grow.
We believe that marketing, when used thoughtfully, can be a powerful force for good. The stories that are amplified, the businesses that succeed and the ideas that reach people all have an impact on the world around us. We want to use creativity and marketing to support projects, people and businesses that are contributing something positive.
That means supporting creatives, championing originality and being mindful of the wider impact of the work we put into the world. It also means encouraging more thoughtful approaches to business, sustainability and community.
Soleil sits within The Vault Creative Network, a broader creative ecosystem dedicated to celebrating human creativity in all its forms. Through projects like Brief Me Baby, The Vault aims to support and connect creatives while building a community centred around creativity, culture and collaboration.
We are still in the early stages of building this vision, which means the people who join us now have the opportunity to play a real role in shaping what it becomes.
The Opportunity
Soleil is entering a new stage of growth, and we are looking for a Junior Social Media Assistant to support the development of our content and online presence.
This role is focused on the creative execution side of the business, working closely with the founder to bring ideas to life and build a consistent, engaging social media presence.
Because Soleil sits within The Vault Creative Network, this role also offers exposure to a broader creative ecosystem, with opportunities to contribute to future projects as the business grows.
The right person will gain hands-on experience across content creation, social media and creative work within a growing agency environment.
About the Role
This position involves working closely with the founder to support the day-to-day content and social media output of Soleil.
You will assist with creating, organising and scheduling content, while contributing ideas and helping shape the overall feel of the brand online.
Initially, the position will be casual at approximately 5–10 hours per week, with the potential for increased hours and responsibility as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
• Creating and formatting social media content (primarily Instagram)
• Assisting with reels, posts and basic editing
• Scheduling and organising content
• Supporting content ideas and trend research
• Repurposing content across platforms
• Assisting with light client work as needed
• Helping maintain a consistent and engaging online presence
The responsibilities of the role will evolve as the business continues to grow.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who has a strong interest in content, social media and creative work.
You might be someone who:
• Has a strong eye for design, content and overall aesthetic
• Enjoys social media and understands what performs well
• Is comfortable using tools like Canva, CapCut or similar
• Is organised, reliable and proactive
• Is confident working independently and following through on tasks
• Has an interest in working with small businesses and creative brands
• Is curious and open to learning
This role may suit someone early in their career or studying a creative or marketing-related field.
Taste, attention to detail and initiative matter just as much as experience.
Growth Opportunities
This role offers the opportunity to grow alongside the business.
As Soleil expands, there may be opportunities to:
• Assist with client social media accounts
• Support broader creative and content projects
• Take on increased responsibility within the team
• Progress into a more consistent or full-time Social Media role
There may also be opportunities to contribute to wider creative initiatives within The Vault Creative Network as it develops.
Location & Flexibility
This is a hybrid role based in the Illawarra region.
Some in-person collaboration may be required depending on location, but most work can be completed remotely.
Working hours are flexible as long as responsibilities are fulfilled.
